Valeria Pinchera is Associate Professor of Economic History at University of Pisa.
She completed her PhD at Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa and has been awarded several research scholarships at Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, and the Getty Research Center, Los Angeles. She has been visiting fellow in Cambridge, Boston (MIT), and in Paris (UPEM). Her research interests focus on history of consumption, economy of culture, and business history of fashion, and creative industry. Her scholarly articles have appeared in Business History, Consumption, markets & culture, Histoire & Mesure, and Rivista di storia economica.
