Dr. Marcelo C. Pereira is Assistant Professor in economics and quantitative methods at the University of Campinas (Brazil) having also acted as Senior VP at large domestic and multinational ICT companies for many years. His main research interests include the application of complex systems theory to macro and microeconomics, and the development of software and methodologies for agent-based modeling. He is a regular Visiting Professor to the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Italy).
